All the above monitors also send advice of any outage of anything the second it happens if you want that.
The latest Kernel & software installed as it becomes available to keep things secure should you want this.
Nightly backups of the home folder & the entire filesystem stored on the server and other remote locations for absolute redundancy using either rsync or rdiff-backup or both.
After working with Linux systems for 27 years I know how to run a tight ship so my advise for server owners is to be diligent by ensuring your users passwords are long and mixed with letters, numbers & special characters.
Lax users Passwords are THE most common way of entry for a hacker, check out > > unbreakable passwords
I work alone, no employees and I have limited time available for more servers so once I'm full up the new signup will be removed.
This script was written by me 20 years ago for web hosting which I am slowly modernising (perl has changed a lot over the years) and modifying for server work so sign up anyway and ignore whatever doesn't apply to you, I will sort it out later.
The main thing is to get your server secured.
